When Waterborne Engine Bay Converter is used in an Envirobase® High Performance waterborne basecoat color formulation, direct application to electrocoat produces a ground coat color to accurately reproduce the original finish on internal parts. At the same time it provides a colored wet on wet layer that can be top coated to reproduce the original external finish, thereby removing the need for undercoating.
